Ok, here is an attachment of the board picture I found on Mitsubishi 3000GT, prparation et ressources techniques - 3SI France, basically the poster (DOHC) explains that this C/F is controlled by the Sel wire which can be located by the red circle on the picture.

You can check by yourself by finding the post of the author, of course you may need to refresh your french lessons, but it's probably worth a try (though I must say I did not test this myself yet)
